End of the Line
29 June 2009
This month, the campaigning film The End of the Line, based upon Charles Clover's book of that name, was released in Britain and the United States. It tells the story of the world's war on the remaining fish stocks - a war that is being won and that could empty the oceans of all fish by the middle of this century unless action ius taken soon to better control the industry. It has received many plaudits and seen tuna sandwiches being withdrawn by at least one major food chain. Here we publish one such review, a blog by Greenpeace member Casson Trenor which echoes the thoughts of many.
