LinksFocus-on-Trade: Focus-on-Trade is a special section of the website of Focus on the Global South - a Policy Research and Action Program of Chulalongkorn University Social Research Institute based in Bangkok. Focus-on-Trade is a regular electronic bulletin providing updates and analysis of trends in regional and world trade and finance, with an emphasis on the impact of trade and the WTO on developing countries.

Global Exchange - Anti-Sweatshop Campaign: This area of Global Exchange's website contains much information on bad practice companies, links, resources, student activites, tools for action and its campaign against sweatshops in China.

Greenpeace: A must-visit site for all aspects of environmental concern, including renewable energy, the marine environment, forests, biodiversity, climate change and pollution and water. Greenpeace is one of the most pro-active environmental organisations.

International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI): This Washington-based food think-tank seeks sustainable solutions to ending poverty and hunger in the developing world. Its website provides a good insight into a broad range of food and agriculture issues. The site includes information on it researchs projects, publications and training programmes, as well as an on-line library and a comprehensive links section.

Make Trade Fair - Oxfam: The website of Oxfam's campaign for fair trade provides an excellent analysis of the issues to date. Its section on "Unfair Trade" discusses the issues - subsidies, trade barriers, commodities, TNCs and patents. It also includes real life stories, information on fair trade and the Oxfam report, 'Rigged Rules and Double Standards'.

Multinational Monitor: This magazine, is a watchdog for corporate abuses, especially in developing countries, focusing on the export of hazardous substances, worker health and safety, labor union issues and the environment. It is produced by the non-profit organisation, Essential Information.

OneWorld.net: OneWorld is a community of over 1250 organisations working for social justice, human rights and sustainable development. It also seeks to harness the democratic potential of the internet to promote these areas. Many organisations concerned with the issue of global trade can be accessed from this site which also includes its own Trade Campaign.

Panos Institute: Panos is an international non-profit institute working with partners worldwide to stimulate informed public and policy debate and build media capacities on developing country issues. It publishes reports and media briefing documents.
