Pole to Pole

Posted: 05 Feb 2001

"Weather is what you expect, climate is what you get. We have never faced a problem quite like this." Pole to Pole examines the environmental crisis that is Global Warming, and the damaging effects the changing climate is having all over the world, from forest fires in Canada to one third of the Czech Republic being flooded, from desertification in Tunisia to the Maldive islands being threatened with submersion.

Pole to Pole underlines the effects global warming is having not just on the planet but to the animal and human life it sustains, and insists we must change our behaviour to halt it.
